ROA Operations

Post by PFMcFarland »

While at the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) for the Collings Foundation “Wings of Freedom 2016 Tour”, I took advantage of the access to get some photos of the regular operations that go on.

Make sure to see the Flickr album so you can read what all the different aircraft are.

The photos were taken with a Nikon D80/Nikkor DX AF-S 18-105mm 1:3.5-5.6G ED VR over a 48hr period that comprised the first two days of the show.

He wants photos of WWII planes, not some coal baron’s helicopter.

Something you don’t see every day at ROA.
