Camera Talk

Hi all -

Spent the night in New York this week as a Christmas gift to the kiddos. Had some nice meals, saw Chicago on Broadway, and did a walking food tour in the Chelsea market/Meatpacker's district. I brought along the Konica I rangefinder in it's new case:

It was cold, dreary, and an absolutely fantastic trip. I'm finding I love walking in large cities. Can't wait to go back.

It's many years since I was in New York but I will remember my visit for the same reasons you enjoyed yours.

Very nice cityscapes, and excellent use of the Konica RF. That is a sharp lens indeed. I wonder what speed/aperture were you using, with FP4+ and that light it would have been a close thing.

Thanks guys. Julio, the outdoor stuff was probably around 1/30 at f/8 and the couple inside robably around 1/10 at f5.6. I find the on-barrel shutter release allows me to handhold at lower speeds.
