Kodak sees a future in 35mm and 8mm maybe 120 can follow. Looks like later this year though for any of it.

Larry, I used and liked Elitechrome from Kodak. Do you know if that was a consumer version of the Ektachrome of that time or a different film entirely? I probably still have a roll or two of expired Elitechrome somewhere.

Well the name is new. It is called Ektachrome E100. Not sure if it is all new, a revision of an older emulsion or if it is a renamed older film. I am just glad it is back. I will get a few rolls as soon as it is on the market. I do need to order an E6 kit.

i still have a pro pack of the old ektachrome in the fridge.will have to compare the both.

Very good news! Hurrah for what is left of Great Yellow Father - their neuron cells are firing at last.

And E6 may be developed at home.

As far as I remember, Elite Chrome had a different emulsion and was the Kodak equivalent of Velvia. More colour saturation and contrast than Ektachrome.
