Zorki-1D replacement check-out

Went to Fincastle, VA to test out my replacement for the worn out Zorki-1D I bought seven years ago. It has been overhauled, and works just fine with the I-22 lens from the old camera. The rangefinder is spot on, and the shutter is good too. Just a few occurrences of light leakage from around the base plate, which should be easy to fix. For the most part, exposures were good, which indicates consistency in the camera functions, and I’m getting better at Sunny-16.

For some reason, this came out better in landscape than it did in portrait.

Yes, the I-22 will flare a bit. Not bad though, considering this is after I cleaned it.

That CCCP shot is a great one. I wonder how you can get a leak in the bottom plate!

The lens is a good performer, I like the "flowery path" picture.
