Burning film...

When medium format isn't big enough: 4x5, 5x7, 9x12, 8x10 and even larger.

Burning film...

Post by scott »

Hi everyone -

I had the itch to shoot a couple sheets of my daughter yeaterday. Haven't shot film in ages, and the 4x5 was calling. This one's on the darker side (light-wise) but I like the way it turned out.

4x5 Arista in HC-110 dil H, 150/5.6 Nikkor-W that I still haven't used that much. She was proud - she historically cannot sit for LF pictures, and she tried really hard yesterday not to move.

Thanks for looking,
Scott

Good to see she is losing her fidgety ways.

PF, she still fidgets, believe me. She’s always been funny about sitting in front of a camera.

Robert, I’ve learned that. As an aside my son just turned 18. Crazy. They grow up for sure.

Nice portrait. They may not really like it now, but will treasure the images later on.
