Rocky Road Structures

Post by PFMcFarland »

Just bumming around the county on a cold winter day in January, 2018 with the Nikkormat FT2 sporting a Nikkor-S 35/2.8, on Fuji Acros 100.

I like the last one a lot.
Btw, as I see from your pics, the main difference between the country side here and there are just the trees.

The first two are a little over-sharpened for my taste, Phil, but I like the images regardless. The last is a classic. I used to own a Nikkor-S 35mm f2.8 but the box that it was packed in disappeared during shipment when we relocated to the UK. I have never replaced it. It is a superb lens.

The over sharpening is a product of the scans I got, Graham. It's another reason I'll be looking for another lab.

Yeah, I find lots of similarities when perusing others work, Alex. It's something to say about the human condition that we find it all to convenient to abandon places, leaving the scars upon the land.
