Some other photos from the same roll, just with Sonnar T 50mm/f2.
Two are colleagues at work.
Kristine.
Nastya.
The best service for Brompton in Moscow is done by Roma.
Thank you for watching.

Good use of 35mm format, Alex. Those RF are addictive. Maybe a Helios-103 fits your IIa?

Thank you all, I'm still surprised by this lens everytime I shoot someone, particularly the Roma portrait I would say it's not mine.

I just took a look about the lens, very cheap and excellent reputation, but a contest between Sonnar or Helios 103 would be really hard to guess

probably I will take one when I'm back.

As far as I am aware the Helios 103 is a direct copy of the Sonnar.

Graham, that is a good question. Not to deviate the thread, but I think that the Jupiter-8 and -3 are indeed close Sonnar copies but the Helios is less so. Must look at my USSR lens diagrams that I have somewhere.
Meanwhile I found this in the Web.
Here is a diagram of a Jupiter 3,
and here one of a Helios-103.
In that site, the
Sonnar page directly includes the Jupiter-8, no question that it is the same design as a 2.0 Sonnar.
The results of the Helios-103 look different from those from a Jupiter-8 in my experience - I like them better. But then I am not a Sonnar fan.

I have three Jupiter 8s and a helios 103 but I don't have a Sonnar. I always liked the results from an uncoated J8. Thanks for the info.
