When I came back with these photo things in November'17 the first MF I bought here was the Ikonta 521, it spent 2 month in the repair shop and meanwhile I was searching I found an Agfa camera named Super Isolette, I read about it and it seemed it was good so I met the guy (Sasha) he put a roll to shoot and the shutter release button didn't click, stuck. We tried several times now with the roll wasted but to see if it worked, nothing. My with a wasted roll and Sasha with this camera (he thought it was fine) said goodbye with a bitter taste.
He said later he would send the camera to a friend. Every 3 months I was writing him how is the camera and all the time he seemed to forget to send it to service. Last week I write him but this time I wanted to try myself to see what was going on, he agreed after seeing my late repairs and I took it home, before doing anything I put a roll (the same we wasted months ago, its my technical film now) and everything worked fine, I did it 4 more times (complete roll) and all fine and now this is the real test roll.
Sorry for the long intro but this story was worthy to tell, not only how I got the camera but also how I got a new acquaintance in this camera world due this, a nice guy in Moscow is gold.
I cleaned the rangefinder glasses carefully, thats the only thing I did, fast speed are halved mainly, slow speeds are fine. I can live with that. It brings half case and I will talk with my friend to place an strap to this half. And now the photos from the test roll, I need to say it was a quick roll.
