Kodak Pony 135

A friend found this and sent it to me. Shutter was sluggish so a cotton swab and some alcohol got it moving. I exercised it for about 15 minutes and it seemed OK. No this is no beauty but it is clean. I see I may need a little more practice with my guesst-a-mation but I think it will be OK for some fun days. Lens seems sharper than I thought it would be. Rollei 80s and sunny 16 those I got pretty close even in the shade. Rodinal 1-100 45 minutes semi-stand.

First the Camera.

Not bad at all! I like the Bottles picture (is that propane?)

Simple cameras have a lot to say in the right hands.

No it is different types of refrigerant. That is behind a repair shop. And thanks.

The Pony Series are good cameras. The C model has a higher speed shutter for those bright days.

Good work with that Pony, Larry! I saw a lot of Kodachrome slides out of a Pony that my cousin had in 1952 or so-- they were good. IIRC, the camera needed at least f/6.3 to make practical use of the Kodachrome of that day and the Pony snuck under that with f/4.5.

Thanks. I collect old slides and I have seen a few.
