Hi all,
Again some of these things in life you don't expect but you like them a lot.
Yesterday I was doing inventory at Ruslans and at the bottom of box I found this little thing and I started to play with it.
It's super light and I thought let's going to try it, at home I unscrewed the lens, opened and cleaned, only very few cleaning marks.
I checked the speeds, pretty good for the age (it was made at war times 1939-1941) 200 as 100, 100 as 50, 50 as 35 and 20 was correct.
Well, it's a single lens reflex camera, good thing what you see it's what you shoot, bad thing the kickback can make the picture blur and the worst is when you stop down, you can't see much and by guessing you shoot (with tripod won't be a problem) or you use the sport viewfinder which is not so bad as I saw.
Being a triplet uncoated I decided to run a Tri-X roll for giving it more punch and those 400 ASA will help a non sunny day with a f/4.5 lens.
I shot everything between f8 and f16 and 100 as real speed (200 at the camera).
All 12 picture went well, small vignetting at corners even with f11.
Lonely pine #1.
Lonely pine #3.
Self portrait.
Tsaritsyno tower-palace.
Window.
Model trying to smile at 0 degrees.
Architects looking their creation.
The idea and the achievement.
She is coming to me!!
She found me.
I hope I can keep the camera
Thank you for watching.
Alex
