Hi all,

I got 12 soviet dry plates, this is the third attempt, the image at the glass is pretty faint but after I scanned I was surprised and this came out:

Plaubel Makina II with wide Orhar 73mm f/6.8.
Rated as ISO 1, F/12, 1 second.
Develop D76 1+1, 4 min at 20 degrees.

Kotelnicheskaya Embankment.

There is some degradation in the sides and something like light leaks but I'm not sure if they come from my holder/camera, the cut glass holder fits really well to the back and the light traps are excellent. My guess this plates were not stored as they should but I liked the outcome.
I wonder if I can do some portraits with the 8 left I have :)

Thank you for looking,
Alex

I think I see huge reverse letters in the sky! Yeah, storage issues for sure. But the "vintage" look is certainly evident.

Already shot half box of this soviet dry plate from 1989.
This one has some artifacts, these dry plates are always unknown the outcome. Shot with Bergheil 9x12 and Heliar.

I'll have to pick up a box of dry plates if I ever get the plumbing fixed in here. You are an inspiration for us all, Alex.

A green filter will help with skin tones, Alex.
