A summer without sun - Agfa Super Isolette.

Post by alexvaras »

Hi all,

In my 11 years here finally I saw a summer as it was 20-30 years ago, meanwhile in Europe they had 40 degrees we were lucky if we had 20 and sunny.

Many time I had the camera in the backpack but few times I took it out, film is Delta 100.

Some samples:

Interesting as always, Alex. Nice shots from that Isolette. Does the cable wrapped around the phone booth allow one to take it somewhere.....else?

It's a water hose used for cleaning the pavement around during summer time, I bet someone thought it was better to put the hose around the phone booth instead of bring it and taking it off for each time or the hose laying on the ground.
Here when you wonder why these things, the easiest answer is probably the correct one.

In the world of folding cameras, the Super Isolette sometimes is forgotten. We often hear about the Isolette III. The Super Isolette took the design one step farther and made for an excellent camera. The Solinar is always a good performer.

I also think that the phone booth photo is very cool.

Alex, another great series. The Super Isolette is a favorite of mine. Glad that you are seeing a bit of summer, even if not perfect.
