Rolleiflex 2.8D - Snow time.

Post by alexvaras »

Hi all,

After coming from Spain I spent few days near Volga river, some snow but not much as this is a very unusual winter, I took the camera to shoot some BW and here it's the result.

This last is from Moscow.

I realize that I like more the infinity photos with a Tessar type than with Xenotar, this last for middle-close focus is outstanding.

Thank you for looking,
Alex

That's an interesting observation about the two lenses, Alex. Still beautiful results though.

Nice Russian pictures, Alex! Those birches look like nice subjects for B&W.

I expected that the difference between those lenses was going to be in the OOF areas, and never thought of your observation, Now I will have to get a Xenotar in order to check...

Thank you, Phil and Julio.
I have no objective reasons to say that thing so next day I go shooting I will load this camera and Super Isolette to have the same photo done, small difference with 80mm vs 75mm but I will see what I need.
