Finally joined the Leica M club!
Leica M2 and coffee. by Nathan Adams, on Flickr
Always wanted an M series Leica and, thanks to the Xmas money from my parents, I finally got one!
Leica M2 purchased from KEH for a good price. In great condition, too! The VF and patch are bright and the speeds all sound accurate. I suspect the previous owner had it CLA'd before letting it go.
Seen here with an LTM Summaron 35mm I already had, but I also got Voightlander Nokton 50mm/1.5 (also LTM) for it yesterday. Now if the weather will only cooperate so I can go shooting!
Re: Finally joined the Leica M club!
Wait for the correct weather - no hurry!
If I ever get an M, it should be the M2. Well done!

Congrats, Nathan! The M2 is a fine first M. I had to choose between that, or an M4-P and went with the latter for no other reason than the viewfinder frame layout. Have fun with it.

Congrats.
If we all saw the world the same no one would need a camera.
Re: Finally joined the Leica M club!
You will love the camera.I bought my 1955 LEICA M-3 in 1969 for $154.00 with a 50mm 2.8 ELMAR.It is the last of my cameras that I would ever part with.
