More archival scans

Here are some more B&W images, scanned from my archives. There were taken on Jessops 100 Pan 35mm film processed in Ilfosol S 1:9, and taken with an Olympus OM2SP with a Zuiko 50mm f1.4 or a Zuiko 35mm f2.8 lens with a Y2 filter. There are many grade 1 listed properties in Hertfordshire that survived the ravages of military occupation during the second world war such as that where the barn is to be found. There are also many Elizabethan buildings still in use, which are not as good to live in as they are to look at. In one such house I know of, the legs of the furniture have had to be cut to accommodate the sloping floors. There are also many village shops combined with post office services, accommodated in old houses owned by old age pensioners. How many will survive the lockdown, remains to be seen.

Lovely old structures, Graham. Always good to record these scenes as you never know when disaster might strike them. Like that old Tudor which looks like it could implode at a moments notice.

Just as well we are not prone to earthquakes here.
