I have two IKOFLEX 1 and 1a both have 75mm 3.5 NOVAR. The 1a is non functioning and has better coating. Will swapping the taking lenses front elements cause focus issues?

With a triplet, you should be OK, although you would need to reset infinity focus. The rear element screws into the back of the shutter assembly, so you should be able to swap all of the elements. However, you'll likely need to reset infinity focus.

A notorious Mr Elek published his method here:

It works perfectly

It is of no use as my cameras are IKOFLEX.

Here's a link to Hans Kerensky's album on some Ikoflex 1a repairs he was doing
https://flic.kr/s/aHsjvD1aJA You can browse his albums for any other Ikoflex work.
It appears that you'll be swapping out the complete lens anyhow, seeing the way it is constructed, Anthony.

The collimation process works with any camera. This weekend, I recollimated an Ikonta 35, an Ikonta 6x9, a Baby Box Tengor and a Retina IIS.
All used the same method, although in this case, I am using a digital camera for the collimating process.
