Oh, I see, Ron. Weathermatic, close enough to weatherproof. And was it? I mean, is that grain or sand?

Those are very nice memories. The Sphynx and pyramids seem to be in the middle of the city. Not as I imagined.

Who are those two boys?

The Pyramids are in Giza, across the river from Cairo, the street picture is of downtown Cairo, taken from an elevated walkway over one of the town's square.
The camera was a yellow waterproof model, and no sand or dust got inside it.
The two boys were sale clerks in one of the bazaars, I bought a piece of jewelry for my wife from them, really honest and nice guys. {they could have over charged me, but they caught their own mistake, caught me outside their shop and gave me the right change}

There are more pyramids on farther out in the desert from these, they sell camel rides to them. I don't have any photos of them[long story}. You pay the camel driver for a ride out to them and guess what, I only had a oneway ticket to ride. And your not told that before hand, and it cost a lot more for the return ride.

That's just like the cabbies in Rota, Spain. The fare around the bay to Cadiz was regulated, but not on the return trip. Too bad you didn't opt for the 35mm version, Ron, but that was not as pocket-able.

I don't believe that Minolta had come out with the 35mm WP version yet. You have to admit, the little 110 done a pretty good job though.
