Camera Talk

I visited New York City last week, and while I was there, as always, stopped in to the International Center of Photography (6th Avenue at 43rd St). Their bookstore is having an incredible clearance sale. I purchased a hardcover retrospective of Robert Capa, a catalog of highlights of the ICP collection, and the two volume catalog of "The Mexican Suitcase" (compilation of Spanish Civil War photojournalism that surfaced about 10 years ago). All in all, about 20 lbs of art photography books for a total of, I recall, $47. The signs said 80% Off.

I recommend the retrospective of postwar Latin American photography they are currently showing as well.
