Re: Exakta VX
Thanks Dennis, all I am posting are 'older' photos that I took. I had eye surgery on my right eye, and the left eye to come in a week or so. So I guess that I am alibiing for not putting up new stuff. Sure hard for me to put up with the wife's driving???
I lucked out on the Angeniux 50mm lens, I bought an Edixa with it on at a thriftstore for nickle & dime, less that 20 bucks. It had an Exakta mount. Then a week later I came across the Exakta at the same store, it had a Biotar lens on it. 58mm ? never have used it.
Then soon after that I seen a 28mm Angeniux len on evilbay. Got the bid for less than a hundred bucks, and no shipping cost. The seller lived here in town.

Ron, Best wishes for the work on your eyes. Those Angenieux lenses with the Exakta make a first-class outfit. I can't tell if they're manual or preset? Years ago when I got my first SLR, an Exa, I got an Angenieux 35mm for it, but never used it much. I hope that we'll see some more from your Exakta and those lenses.

These are great, especially the portraits.
I have somewhere in an old book pictures of the Angenieux factory.
Best wishes for your surgery, may your eyes be those of an eagle!

Good luck on the eyes, Ron. May you be able to see a flea from fifty paces!

An enviable outfit, Ron. I like the conductor's portrait. He looks right out of the Civil War.
