Cross Country...

Hi, all -

My son is running cross country this fall, for the first time ever. Had his first meet Saturday in Philly. It was cold and rainy, but he did well. He wasn't happy, but CC isn't his focus, and is really a means of cross training for lacrosse. But when the gun goes off, he goes into competition mode.

Anyway, some shots from the meet:

Thanks for looking.

Good stuff, Scott. The weather looks a bit unpleasant, but it's certainly good for running and the light turned out to be good for shooting. Track is not the easiest. I find it difficult to frame well in cases like that, e.g., the angles available from the spectator's positions, the moving targets with others crossing in front and behind them, the tendency to cut off limbs at the wrong spot. I'm still working on it.
