strobe me, strobe me...STROBE!STROBE!............

If you need to unleash a rant or just have something that you want to say, you can post it here. It doesn't have to be about photography.

Misheard lyrics......
but
i was in the right place at the right time and had the right amount of money.
a local auction house was actioning off a heap of of earth moving equipment....when i get the catalog alert email it tell me there is some photographic gear....in amidst bulldozers and tractors?
so had a look. turns out it was 5 paul buff strobes (2x1200,1x1800,2 x 1000 can types) 4 radio slaves triggers,2 transmitters, sync cords, softboxes, honeycombs, etc in two crates.
all 120 v plugged( no problem..i got a stepdown transformer).
all i won it at 150AUS. (after premiums and having to pay my bid full bid price it came to 249aus.)still not bad for over $1000 worth of gear in strobes alone.
now...to go and fry some unsuspecting insects...
