Has anyone here used a 'LensBaby' lens?
I see some for around $80.00, but I am looking at one that goes for around $130.00. Haven't seen any in my thrift stores yet
Think that it would be fun to play with in this digi world

unless you are very fortunate i guess you will be waiting a loooong time for one of these babies (sic) to come through a thrift store. however they are one those 'Hipster' must have gadgets.....and hipsters tend get tired of their toys .so you never know. tilt shift is a fun thing.if you are feeling handy you could pull apart a kodak 620 or similar folder type and with a little fiddling around attach bellows to your Digicam.

Herr Scheimpflug would be impressed, i'm sure

Martolod, the couple of old Kadaks that I do have are too nice to mutilate so guess that is out of the question.
I see some here on line that I will study some before I step in.

if you are going to have fun with a Tilt / Shift then it would be at least interesting to understand or have an Appreciation for the Scheimpflug effect.

the above link will take you to a site that will illustrate how the Tilt/Shift of the lens will affect the DOF in relation to the Focal plane.( this is called the Scheimppflug effect.)
ignore the maths, the illustration is self explanatory.
in large format cameras and some of the smaller large/ medium format folder you can tilt/swing the Focal pane, or the front standard or both. it is mostly used to adjust/correct perspective.
