WOW my first showing.

If you need to unleash a rant or just have something that you want to say, you can post it here. It doesn't have to be about photography.

WOW my first showing.

Post by LarryD »

Well it is all but set in stone for my first photography exhibit. It has been a long road being an outsider in the Art community but I found a place and it is also in association with the local Art community so take that big guys... :D It will be on the first Thursday in February at what is known as the Downtown art walk. Of all places it is a gallery sponsored by a church so I must have done something right. :D

I am going to be displaying about 12 pieces and if there are any sales after my expenses all money will be going to feed local homeless and underprivileged folks. That was my idea and a way of saying thanks.

I know that most of you are not close enough but I will post the rest of the details later.

Larry,

Congratulations! That sounds great: part of an art walk, and it's for a good cause, too. Maybe you could take some photos of the exhibit to show us? I don't know how these things work, but maybe it could be done? Anyway, good work.

Congratulations! And for such a cause! Excellent!

Please share some of the pictures shown and the exhibit itself, so we can root for you from a distance.

And Reverend, why would you be out of place in a Church-sponsored Gallery?

From what I have seen of your work around town I believe that you will be well accepted. And your final goal is admirable.
Good Luck !
