I got this camera from a good friend across the other side of the country (Thanks, Ron), and figured it was good to use while wearing gloves. Good thing, because it was 22F/-6.5C while I shot this roll of film. Click on the link at the end to see the entire set, along with full commentary.

It seems a most usable little camera. IIRC there were wides and teles available for the Paxette.

I was wondering about those white areas in the streams - excuse my forgetting about your temperate climate. At least thawing. But I read that a storm is close.

Yes, quite temperamental too. Luckily, we are missing the brunt of the storm, Julio. New England is in for it though.

The interchangeable lens Paxette's were the Model II series.

Phil, those are good pictures of interesting places. I especially like the panorama of the railroad town. The Braun Paxette does well; I've heard of it, but I've never seen one. I understand what you're talking about when you refer to wearing gloves. We're still in a warm spell here in Minnesota, 20's and 30's are welcome after several weeks of zero and below-- if there isn't cloud cover and the wind isn't cutting, it works fairly well for photography.
