Flat Stanley

Post by jamesmck »

Those of you with grammar school age kids or grandkids may be familiar with "Flat Stanley" (if not, Google it). My job today was to document Stanley's visit to Washington, DC for my 8-yr old grandson Andrew. I've done the same for his older brother and sister in previous years. I won't bore you with photos of Stanley at the U.S. Capitol or the Washington Monument, but here is a shot of him at the National Botanic Garden. If you have ever had the pleasure of hosting Stanley, post some pictures.

Nice, bright picture. I hadn't heard of Flat Stanley, but I recall some other similar things. My bride and I once carried a small teddy bear to Britain. I'll see if she has any photos and post them later.
