In this Entrepreneur magazine article, Steve Wozniak, one of Apple's co-founders, says he agrees with several high-profile tech notables who say that artificial intelligence could be "very bad for people."

While neither Elon Musk, Bill Gates nor Stephen Hawkins has actually mentioned the "Terminator" – James Cameron's movie about the not-so-distant future when self-aware computers strike back against humanity with "extreme prejudice," as the military might say – they all hint that we could become unnecessary in a world ruled and run by computers.

And so while we debate race, politics and religion, AI edges ever closer to that point where perhaps humans become dispensable. It could bring new meaning to the phrase, "You're fired!"

Maybe there's a case to be made for sticking with film photography and our decades-old cameras.

Just kidding – but only a little bit.
