I was out shooting today and on the way back I passed Goodwill. I saw the big "50% off everything" sign and thought WTH I will stop in.
A fully working Epson V500 with all cords and the power pack. No film holders but then hey for a total of $5.48 I can't complain. I got some foam board and the templates so I will make some. I already have a V700 but a backup won't hurt.

Re: Score!!!!
Congratulations!!! I believe that model uses the same film holders as my V700. You'd probably want to replace them anyway, cause they're pretty cheap. Highly recommend these: http://www.betterscanning.com/scanning/models/v500.html

Believe it or not the Lomography holders are some of the best I have found. They use magnets to hold the film flat and they have adjustable feet.
Oh and Bill Thanks but my ex wife already told me that a few thousand times.

Oh wow - that is an excellent deal. I've been thinking of moving on from my workhorse Epson Expression 1600. I really like the V-series.
