I've been working on a Super Ikonta IV, and aside from other issues, I managed to somehow cross-thread the helicals.

Has anyone every successfully overcome this? I have some ideas that I'm going to try, but I thought I'd put out a call to see what others have tried.

a set of Key Files, a jewellers vice, a good light source a cork or two to hold the helical steady and a slow steady hand ....a magnifying loupe will help too

:shh: I had this with a soviet Jupiter lens. I found it was quicker and easier to just get a new front helical. :shh:
