Where does everyone send their color film for development?

Post by Captain Slack »

Got a roll of Porta that I shot for the Camera Around the World Project that needs to be developed. It's been awhile since I had to get color film processed and I'm not sure where's the best place to send it now that the local 1hr places are a thing of the past. Always had good luck with Dwayne's, but figured I'd ask for suggestions.

I send mine to Dan's Camera City in Allentown, Pa. They are very careful with how they handle film, so you don't get back negatives with smudges, fingerprints or scratches.

The cost is a bit higher, but I am always very pleased with the quality of their work. Plus, they will scan to CD.

They will send you free lightproof mailers. They've processed maybe 60 or 70 rolls for me.

If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
