Some samples from an OMPC that I cured of the plastic creep, only to have the mirror fall off towards the end of the roll. Click on the two links to see all the photos.

The mirror fell off? Wow, I've not heard that one before. Love the photos, especially the mailbox. There's something about battered mailboxes that make for great photos.

I'm with Mike: the mirror fell off?! Wow.

Really like "Natural Lighting"; the patterns and the lines are very interesting.

Good job, and fine shots, too! But what a drag about the mirror. Your Ektar shots have beautiful tones & colours. (You're making me think I should end my infatuation with mostly expired film. . . .)

This is my second OM model with a mirror failure. The other was an OM-F, Olympus's first attempt at auto focus. I never even got to run any film through that one. Just going through the checks after taking it out of the box, and three dry fires later...CLANG!...rattle. I tried Weldbond, but it didn't take. I'm leery of using silicon because I don't want any out-gassing issues.

I'm still not totally sold on Ektar, Philip, but it does seem to handle shady days better.
