Old Lester and his good wife Claudia are still kickin' and screamin' and have not been hunted by Arrow tossing Dentists.
i just got a message via FB .
As they are advancingin years they are leaving their beloved Ranch and moving into a retirement Community.
I miss Lester and his lovely anecdotes and lifestories.
But at this point ....they are still with us

That's good news. I'm glad to hear it. Pass along my best wishes to the two of them.

I often think about the lovely pictures that Les made when he was in Italy in the 1940s and '50s: beautifully composed and shot pictures of people. His son made a web site of some of those pictures eight or ten years ago -- is that still working?

Oh yes, those are (at least some of) the same pictures. I expect the Flickr ones are most of what he thought of his best from that era. Before Les got on Flickr, there was another site. I was hoping, back then, about 2008 or so if I remember right, his son was going to put a lot more up. Maybe one day.

I'm hoping that after Les and Claudia get settled, he'll wander back online and spend some time with his photography friends. I wonder if he needs a computer.
