The resolution is measure in petapixels. Never heard of that before. However, it failed to answer the important question: How's the bokeh? Because that's what we care about most (not really).

I was reading of a sensor made for NASA that was in that range. That was years ago. so it was only a matter of time before some of those things trickle down to the consumer market. From what I saw the lens did not have very good bokeh paired with the sensor. I believe though it was an incompatibility problem as the lens was for the CIA. Also resolution had to be dialed back as it was showing the non existent ancient artifacts on the moon and mars.
