Shuttter capping on Canon P with Nikkor 3.5/3.5cm LTM

Testing both the camera and lens on Kodak BW400CN, with the shutter failing on the camera. Most frames have some degree of capping, with some of them totally unusable, the others being fixed with a combination of dodging, and creative cropping.


These photos were taken at Lafayette, VA where the old bridge over the Roanoke River was being replaced. It is partly of link-and-pin construction, a style not widely seen anymore. Though still structurally sound, it wasn’t built to handle today’s heavier loads.

It looks as though they may be saving this bridge for use elsewhere, such as a footpath/bikeway in a park or on a trail. First part of the dismantling was to lift half of the bridge up on the riverbank with a couple of cranes.
