Right after I took this photo I fell, I healed pretty well, but the Sigma 28-105 didn't fare as well.
The lady that created this sculpture was a good friend of my wife.

I'm glad to hear, Ron, that you're better. But too bad about the lens.

Interesting sculpture -- does it commemorate something specific?

Good to hear you're back up and tooling around, Ron. I wish I had an EF lens to send you.

I don't think so Philip, unless it would be the artist herself , Nancy McLaughlin.
She passed away almost 30 years ago. At one time she was married to Ace Powell, another great western artist.
The title to this sculpture is the Berry Picker I believe.

Thanks Phil, but I reeeealy have plenty of lenses on hand .
I have an adapter to fit my Exakta mount lens unto the Canon XTi digital so think I have plenty of toys on hand.

That's an interesting sculpture. Not to speak of the lens.

The nice thing about crossing this lens into digital is that you can really mess with the DOF.{I finally shot this @ f:4}. Unlike a film camera you can see the color of the icing before you take a bite?
