been trying to shoot one of these Blue ones for some years.this one visited me while i was at the kitchen sink.
managed to coax her onto my finger

Steady hands - one to hold the dragonfly and the other to hold the camera!
I always think of dinosaurs when I see dragonflies -- like I'm looking back through time. Beautiful animals. Great shots!

The blue damselflies are very pretty, and quite numerous around here in the summer. I never would have thought one could get them to alight on the fingers though. Such wonderful luck, Kalle, and a good couple of shots to show for it.
