Hi all -
My daughter is in a program at school where she and her housemates do initial training and socialization for service dogs. She had training today in Cochranville, PA. Heart of Amish country, mid-600s population in the 2010 census. It's rural. Beautiful place. The training was two hours. I thought ahead, and wanting to exercise the Bronica more lately, I packed it along. While I was sitting in the truck I google mapped the area, and the Faggs Manor Cemetery was about 3/4 mile down the road. Gave it a try.
Turns out the cemetery was established in 1730. Now, growing up in Indiana and Michigan, there weren't a whole lot of opportunities to see things dating back nearly 300 years. Lots of history there. Lots of veterans. Humbling place. I shot one roll of film. And I'm out of practice. But I had a few shots that I'm happy with, and gives me more desire to get out and shoot with this rig.
All shot with the Bronica SQ-A, Zenzanon-S 80/2.8 or 50/3.5, FP4+ in HC-100 dil H.
Thanks for looking.
Scott

Nice shots, Scott. My favourite 6x6 camera, the SQA.

Beautiful series! The light in the last one is awesome, and you got the DOF exactly right.

Thanks guys!
I'm really happy using the Bronica again, and it was perfect for this. As much as I love shooting LF, I really enjoy the square format. And it's just a little quicker...

+1 on the square format. One of my pending tasks in photography is using a 6x6 SLR, some day.
A nice feature of cementeries is that the subject does not move too much.

That's one of the things I like about living in one of the original states, the history that goes back at least a hundred years before my home state of Indiana was formed. Lots of opportunities even outside of the cemeteries. Good work with the Bronica, Scott.
