I borrowed a Contax IIIa (Stuttgart) a few weeks back, to test
It seemed in very good shape, shutter was snappy and within tolerance, RF patch was bright, but the focusing wheel was stiff and the lens was unfortunately full of mold

That SuperRicohflex is a highly under-valuated camera
I bought one years ago as well, and it is a very good TLR
You have the 35mm counter, and with an adapter you could shoot 35mm.
I made an adapter for 3D printing which works fine

I would need the spools as well. I'll stick to setting up for 120, thanks all the same.

Yeah the spools and the "extensions" for the 35mm cassette are in the 3D model, it takes between 45min to 1:20 depending on the printer

Recently I started C-41 home development and finally I got CS-41 with simplifies all the temp thing.
My only concern is I don’t shoot as much color as I should to use the chems to the maximum and I always end up throwing away developer.
Yeah, same here...

It should be possible to remove the front and rear elements of the lens to see if the fungus has etched the lens surface. If it has not, fungus can be cleaned off.

A new one, and it's even Friday.

Image

So my daughter had a summer abroad program at school that sent her to Florence for a month to study Italian. Met her language req in a month, so two semesters worth of class in 4 weeks. While there, she spent a lot of down time street shopping. Found this camera at a booth, in its case, and was super excited. Bought it as a gift for me. Had no idea what it was, or if it worked, but she got me a camera and she was happy. I got it and explained that it was a Soviet-born rangefinder, a FED 5B. So she bought a Russian camera in Italy. Shutter was jammed up pretty well when I started fooling with it, but with a little playing, righted itself. Have actuated the shutter maybe a hundred times since, and so far, so good. Fingers crossed. I have it loaded with TMAX 400 right now. Just looking for an opportunity to try it out. I think the dented filter ring completes the look. My first Russian camera.
The lens is the Industar-61 L/D. Made with lanthanum, it is slightly radioactive but not harmful.

I have had this beauty for many years. It was a charity shop find for £5.00. I am ashamed to admit that I have never shot a folm with it, as I no longer have the means to develop the film. I will put 120 developing on my to-do list for this winter. By repute, the Ricoh Anastigmat f3.5 80mm is very good. The camera has a very solid feel. I will have to service the focussing system as it is very stiff.

Those are a tribute to the designer of the Ricohflex. Superb images.
